Lower Austria
Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) is one of the nine federal states in Austria. The Capital of Lower Austria is St. Pölten .The state borders on Slovakia, Czech Republic, and on the other Austrian states of Upper Austria, Styria and Burgenland. The state surrounds Vienna( Wien ).
Lower Austria is divided into four sectors: the Waldviertel, Mostviertel, Industrieviertel, and Weinviertel. The Wachau, a region between Melk and Krems in the Mostviertel, is famous for its landscape, culture, and wine.
